KOHRA (Progressive / Minimal)
Kohra A.K.A Madhav Shorey is a dj, percussionist and music producer from New Delhi, India. He started developing his skill for mixing music while he was a drummer for an array of rock bands at the youthful age of 16, which was when he was also the final contestant at the "War of the Dj's" Competition in India.His dj sets are characterized by a wide variety of music ranging from House, Electro, Deep Progressive, Tribal, Psygressive and Psychedelic and have been appreciated across the country. His productions are inspired by the same, resulting in hybrid sounds and elements breaking the ever so evident genre barricade most producers confide themselves to. He uses native world rhythms including ethnic sounds that hail from his homeland to distinguish his production.
His first EP "Air Pedro " was released on Soultribe Records (Germany) and ranked #2 on the Psyshop Charts. He recently assembled V.A "Deep Electric India", a compilation that promotes progressive music produced by Indian artists. His recently produced "Blue Moves" appears on a V.A Compilation "Get Wet Go" that has been compiled by Dj Nick, the compilation features tracks from artists such as Gaudium, Sensifeel, True Lies, Cyclones, Vibrasphere and 2 new artists "Fat Data" and Crater, this CD releases shortly on Shivlink Records (India). To add to his credit, he forms a vital part of the eminent Indian Electronica act called the Jalebee Cartel. At the same time he is promoting the progressive trance movement in India by organizing gigs featuring internationally recognized artists.He is currently working on a V.A. compilation for Shivlink Records, which features the finest progressive talent across the globe. Apart from music production, Madhav is deeply interested in Graphics and Media Design. In order to exemplify his creativity in the design industry, he is moving to Australia to study the same!
J & B PROJECT (Progressive Psy-trance)
Jan Drapala and Bjoern Grashorn of Germany extend their musical genius to conjure up another entity for your listening project - the J&B project. Jan is already famous in the trance circuit thanks to his cutting edge releases as Bounder and Hyperion, whereas Bjoern is better known as Dj Imago. With their forces combined, they now release the freshest progressive psytrance tunes with a special focus on melodic content. They have already received an overwhelming response to their first EP “Control your Fantasy" on the Beatport charts, and will soon be releasing their full length album on Shivlink Records!
DAVID LAAKE (Progressive / Minimal)
Born in 1983, David Sjöö/Laake started his musical thread in life at 14, when he came across the simple sequencer fast tracker 2. At 16 he found Docklands, an underground rave club in Stockholm, and quickly became affiliated with the local underground scene. Five years later he attended the famous audio engineering school ‘SAE’ for a few months, subsequent to which studied visual arts for two years. He now focuses exclusively on music career. He has experimented with virtually all types of subgenres within electronic music, and with his project David Laake, finally arrived at his own take to the progressive sound. His music thoroughly tested on various dance floors, he carries with him his own unique style and momentum, which plays a vital role at Shivlink Records.
TRIBAL WALKERS (Progressive Psy-trance)
Tribal Walkers is the project of Igor Podolski and Vladimir Oblasov from Moscow, Russia. Both Igor and Vladimir were born in 1985. While Igor’s journey relating to electronic music was initiated at the age of 13, Vladimir started professional work when he was 17. They met at university during the conclusion of 2003 and after working on their sound for several months had founded AUM Experience project. After gaining necessary experience their sound gradually evolved from classical psychedelic trance to trip trance, which is now expressed in a more or less modern format - progressive psytrance.
After collaborating for a period of 5 years, they renamed the project AUM Experience into Tribal Walkers. The basis of the new project is a different conceptualization. They now work on production of music that integrates tribal minimalist elements with a deep, underground atmosphere. As Exclusive artists on Shivlink Records, Tribal Walkers productions will soon be witnessed on compilations released worldwide.
HYPERION (Full On)
Hyperion is a fusion of two talented guys from Hamburg. The two met in 2003 and are known for the havoc they can cause on a dance floor. Both guys are real party freaks and have lived the psychedelic culture since 1999. Jan Drapalla started producing under the name "cosmophonic" some years ago and was a resounding success due to his mind blowing live-acts in the northern territory of Europe. Hyperion was born and conceptualized at a small party where the two guys performed together. They became very famous in the northern part of Germany in a very short time interval, and during their steep rise they released on a number of compilations. Their high quality music was picked up by the most renowned psytrance label Yellow Sunshine Explosion. They released single tracks on many YSE compilations - Ticket to Goa, Goa Neo Full On, Goa Sound System vol 8, Goa Vol 25, Goa 2008 Vol 2, Map of Goa Vol 4, Map of Goa Vol 5, Goa Trance, Goa Vol 26, Goa Tribes Vol 4, Psychedelic Circus. Further more, they released their album Drop Psychosis in 2008.
With a lot of upcoming bookings and releases, "Hyperion" seems to become a new star of the northern psytrance scene. Look out for the dynamic duo Live on Shivlink Records!
SYGNOSIS (Full On)
Project Sygnosis was born in 2003 thanks to Charli Azulai. Unlike most of the new age trance producers, Charli is armored with the most vital of all qualities - experience. Charli has the advantage of having a family background that comprises professional musicians, owing to which he has always been around hi-tech music equipment. A follower of heavy metal music, he started playing the guitar at the age of 13. He was introduced to the trance scenario a couple of years later.
Project Sygnosis has been alive and kicking for 6 years now, which were characterized by a lot of hard work, development of a unique style and enhancement of technical expertise. The near future will witness many more releases from this promising project and we guarantee you nothing but quality music. Watch out for Sygnosis!
GALAKTIK WAVE (Full On)
Galaktik Wave is Olivier Drignon, an extensive traveler who lives between the borders of Ibiza, Goa and Brazil.
He started his career as a professional Disc jockey in 1998 and was spinning at the sands of Goa by 1999.In the year 2000 he made his appearance at the Earth Dance Festival at Bali, and at the Full Moon parties in Thailand. These festivals were just a prelude to his career in Brazil. Owing to his amazing mixing skills he played all over Brazil and was invited to festivals such as Etnicanet Celebra Brazil, Trancedance, Ipy Poty, Brazilians Trance Festival. Some of the other major events he appeared at were Universo Parrallelo, Boom Festival and national events like Carnaval Bahia, Megavonts, and Orion Dance.
The project Galaktik Wave ages back to the year 2002 when Olivier set up his studios at Trancoso (Bahi / Brazil). Since then, he has collaborated with GMS (Bansi) as well as Polaris. He has released number of tracks such as pharmacy (Quantica Records), Peace Warrior (Ketuh Records), White Force (Mahogany Records), Mekanikal Male (Exposure Productions Records), E-tower (Spontaneous Aerobics records & Cosmophilia).
Galaktik Wave initiated his live act at the Brazilians Trance Festival in 2004. He has also played his live sets in countries such as France, Spain, Belgium, etc. He is now ready to unleash his potent melodies as an exclusive artist at Shivlink Records.
BOUNDER (Full On)
Bounder is a Solo Project of Jan Drapala Aka Hyperion - a talented young man whose music exudes his 8 year long experience. A Dj since 2001, and a producer since the year after, Jan has showcased his prowess across various clubs in Germany. He started project Bounder in 2008, and this project focuses on Full On melodic style.Bounder was an immediate success and has already released several tracks under this name
- Z - (ALPHA & ANTAGON)(Twilight / Dark)
The famous German Dj's Alpha and Antagon form the soul of Z - A unique project that converges three different styles of Electronica into one unique sound. With a sound that forms the fine line between twilight, full on and dark trance, Z is project that must be experienced to be understood. Taking trance in a new innovative direction, they started their live performance in 2008. With Alpha on the keyboard/bass, Anatagon handling the Mixing/Synth and Equinox taking care of digital percussion Z was an instant success.
2009 seems to be an even more promising year for this talented act. Their EP 'images' is set to be released in the end of April 09, subsequent to which their debut album 'Revo' will be available to the public this summer. Immense emphasis laid on the quality of the album, Shivlink Records presents Z – the sound of the future.
VECTRO ELECTRO (Twilight / Full On)
Vectro Electro is Haim Mitnitsky from Israel. A man of many talents, he is an Electronic music producer and at the same time a teacher at the White Noise DJ School in Israel. He started mixing music at the turn of the millennium under the name 'Shanti Alien', which means he has over eight years of industry experience. In 2004, his project Vectro Electro was born which today has myriad tracks on compilations worldwide. After receiving a successful international response to his single track releases, he released two solo albums - Rasta Blasta (Geomagnetic Records) in 2007 and Beat Em Up (Samsara Recordings) in 2008.
The Vectro Electro style is hardcore psychedelic dance-floor reactive music, beyond the typical Full on and the dark terms. By combining unusual styles and patterns into a bouncy, understandable and yet intelligent adventure targeted at stimulating the body and soul, the Vectro energy definitely electrifies your neurons!
ELEKTRONICK/FUZZ Aka DJ NICK (Full On / Progressive)
DJ NICK aka ELEKTRONICK/ FUZZ is Manish Arora from New Delhi (India) who had his first encounter with psychedelic trance music when he went for his first outdoor nature parties in Goa while he was already spinning in the local clubs of Delhi. Taking inspiration from there he started spreading psytrance music with full throttle in India.Today, he is the label manager of Shivlink Records– an entity that involves event organization as well as releasing records.
After enjoying immense success as a Dj by sharing the console with the artists like ASTRIX , 1200 MICS , SPACE CAT , ESKIMO , POLARIS , DNA , VIBE TRIBE , IRON MADNESS , MISTED MUPPET , SAMADHI , STRANGERS , SINE WAVE , VECTRO ELECTRO , DJ KAA , QUANTUM & KEREN PORAT, he introduced the project Elektronick & Fuzz. Most importantly, his tracks are known to have a very distinct style which can be described as ‘Progressive Full-on’ also. Replete with intense emotions, the music is sure to leave you wanting to hear another story..
A familiar personality in the Indian Psy-Trance network, the label manager of Shivlink Records has traveled all over India. DJ VIVEK PHOENIX
In the heart of Colourful Mother India, lies an Artist anticipating the rush of beautiful sunrise melodies and highly fuelled basslines : Meet Vivek ‘The Phoenix’ Suri ... BassLoader, SoundBlaster, BeachLover, FloorWrecker; call him what you want, but closed eyes, thrown back heads, random hyperactivity and unusual peaking of energy levels are normal occurrences when this DJ is in the cockpit. The Phoenix fondly remembers the beginning of his journey towards early Goa psychedelic trance towards the turn of the millennium and how it had a huge impact on him. “It was pure magic on the beach” he recalls with a gleam in his eyes. And he’s been hooked ever since. Recognized today as a well known force in the Indian Trance circuit, he is regarded as a Sunrise specialist. Strongly built daylight sets, with an ear for Hard, Full blown melodic atmospheres combined with thunderous peaks and twisting breakdowns, leaving the crowd anticipating his next tune ! He has raised dust on many dancefloors in the US, having resided there, but his true love for music led him to the trance Capital of the world, Goa. It was here that he built his reputation in India as a highly respected dancefloor pilot in front of scores of Clubbers, and has played at many premier festivals, alongside some of the most respected names in the Industry including JUDGE JULES, ASTRAL PROJECTION, SKAZI, SPACE-CAT, MELICIA, CHICAGO, LOUD, SAMADHI, NOCTURNAL, CRAZY DUCKS, MA FAIZA, and a host of other international and Indian Artists, and will be representing Shivlink at various future festivals .

DJ LUSID
Lusid is Rohan Mathew, an Amsterdam-based Indian native who fell in love with Goa and psy-trance music during the late 90s. Although he grew up to listening to Rock music, it was not long before he was mesmerized by the culture and the vibes of Goa - the people and the music. He has organized parties at beautiful outdoor locations near the Indian Capital, New Delhi. The artists that have been featured at his parties include the likes of Baphomet Engine (Kabrathor records, Brazil), Kailiskov_As(Nabi Records, Russia), Stranger(Greece), Alien Mental / Sonic Sizzor (Insomnia Records,USA), White Wizard ( Samsara Recordings, India), Spiral(Saiko Sounds,India), Schizobot (Samsara Recordings, India) and Merry Prankster ( Tantrumm Records, India/USA).
As a Dj, Lusid pays close attention to combine various styles of psy trance in to his set. Always keeping the crowd in mind, his sets range from 140 - 150 BPM, to ensure that his audience thoroughly expresses their trance dance. Currently, he is channelizing his energy towards production of his own tunes. Even though he is only at the beginning of the journey, he feels that the journey is as important as the goal!

DJ BELLATRIX
Bellatrix is Batel Ohana born in "Eilat" Israel . Musically inclined since childhood, she got her first sound mixer at the age of thirteen. Other things she played with at that age were the synthesizer and guitar, which she soon quit as it was something else that had her interest. After attending few parties Batel knew what she wanted and bought herself a pair of CD players and a mixer to start mixing and soon she was spinning her full on tunes at local parties in Israel. Her favorite artists include Ananda shake, Vibe Tribe and Technodrome. For the past year she has been involved in serious production and spends most of her time in her small studio at home.
